Sahan Shakti, translated from Sanskrit as “the strength to endure,” explores a quiet power: the ability to carry pain, persist through silence, and survive what cannot always be named. It reflects the kind of strength expected of many South Asian women, to hold everything together without complaint. But endurance also holds the potential for transformation.
