Wind and Spirit is a performative enquiry that brings the Sulur, a traditional tribal wind instrument of the Gond community of Chhattisgarh, into a contemporary artistic practice. The work explores memory, cultural reclamation, and how knowledge can be carried through sound, movement, and the body. Through breath, improvisation, and intuition, I explore the relationship between the instrument, the body, and the land, asking how an endangered practice can be remembered and carried forward through a new artistic language.
